In July of 2017, Fringe In made its first foray into the global fringes. Allied organizations included Canadian backpacking company Operation Groundswell and a host of non-profits dedicated to the betterment of Bolivian society.

We launched a fundraiser in support of our partners’ aims, which successfully beat its $775 CAD goal!

With the help of our donors,

• Food security cooperative Fundacion Alternativas built new infrastructure for their urban garden in La Paz.
• Water security NGO Agua Sustentable brought clean water to a school and an orphanage with the installation of two brand-new water filters.
• Non-profit social enterprise Condor Trekkers constructed a collectively-owned community hostel in collaboration with the villagers of Talula.
• Mining aid group Cepromin hired a new member of staff to aid them in their mission of supporting the children of miners.
